About us
Welcome to the Institute of International Studies at the University of Wrocław, one of the largest universities in Poland. The institute, which was established in 1998, has evolved from the Institute of German and European studies and since then continues to encourage research in many areas.
The research concentrates on European integration, German studies, Eastern studies, international economic and financial relations, international communication, geopolitics, diplomacy and Polish foreign policy.
The Institute provides high-quality university education in two disciplines: International Relations and National Security, both in full- and part-time groups. We offer also master′s degree in International Relations - Global Studies for foreigners (in English). In October 2016 starts a new program in English (Bachelor in International Relations - Global Studies.
Our teaching staff includes established scholars and teachers as well as young academics at the beginning of their research and teaching careers. We sincerely hope that the information included in this directory will encourage you to spend some time studying with us.
