Erasmus+ Exchange (Outgoing)
(Information for incoming students)
RECRUITMENT FOR STUDIES 2024/2025 !
As part of the Erasmus program exchange is possible:
- Erasmus + studies - mobility for part of the studies at a foreign university, long-term trip for 2-12 months;
- Erasmus Short-term mobility - students depart to participate in an organised activity, e.g., summer/winter school or other short-term academic mobility; from 5 to 30 days;
- Erasmus + Traineeship - internships to a foreign company, institution or organization,
long-term mobility for 2-10 months; the aim of the mobility is to carry out a traineeship at a foreign institution. - Erasmus+mobility for graduate traineeship - grants are for periods from 2 to 5 months; applications may be submitted by graduates of the University of Wrocław who have completed first- or second-cycle studies, uniform Master’s studies, or doctoral studies.
- Erasmus + short- term mobility for traineeship - from 5 to 30 days; a compulsory virtual component, i.e., in addition to the time spent abroad, a virtual component is necessary (before, during or after the mobility). The rule do not concern doctoral students' mobility.

- Roskilde, Ghent, Vienna and Leipzig are available only for EMGS students.
Recruitment stages & deadlines (2 stages):
STAGE I - Verification of foreign language
All students of BA, MA, and EMGS who choose a host university with a program in English do not need to pass the language exam and do not submit any documents to the Dean's Office. Students who have language certificates or have completed the language course at the B2II level are not required to join the interview, but must contact the SPNJO secretariat in order to put their names on the list provided to the Erasmus + Program Coordinator.
Foreign language interviews (German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian) are held in December and January at the Foreign Language Study Center on ul. Nankiera 2/3.
Registration for the interview is carried out by the SPNJO secretariat: sekretariat.spnjo@uwr.edu.pl
Verification of foreign language/s command will be organized in two terms:
1st term – 08.12.2023 (enrollment 29.11 - 05.12.2023)
2nd term – 19.01.2024 (enrollment 10.01 - 16.01.2024)

STAGE II - Recruitment at the Institute of International Studies
until 18 February 2024 - submitting candidate’s file with necessary documents (see below) via Coordinator's e-mail;
26 February 2024 – the Coordinator announces the recruitment results by e-mail and allocates mobility places at USOS.
The student's obligation is to check the USOS. The student completes the data in USOS and approves it. Later the International Office (BWM) generates a link to the application in the BWM database https://international-applications.uni.wroc.pl/ and sends it to the student by e-mail.
1 March 2024 - recruitment is completed.
Candidate’s file includes documents:
- CV (tabular),
- Declaration regarding any previous mobility (mobility capital)--> DeclarationMobility-capital_ang (DOC / 30.72 kb)
- COVER LETTER - containing the justification for the Erasmus exchange. It should indicate 5 foreign universities in the ranking order and the planned semester of the exchange. See Rules and Regulations in ISM: Rules-and-regulations_Erasmus_2024_2025 (PDF / 2.25 Mb)
- AVERAGE GRADE (this is not a Transcript of Records, but information from the Dean's Office. - Language certificate (if the Student does not participate in the interview).
The student is obliged to send these documents in ONE mail with the title: ERASMUS_FIRST NAME_LAST NAME to the ISM Erasmus Plus Coordinator,
PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT DOCUMENTS TO THE SECRETARIAT.
RECRUITMENT IS ONLINE AND ONLY COMPLETE DOCUMENTATION, SENT IN ONE MAIL, WILL BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT.
PREPARING FOR A SCHOLARSHIP ·
- until June 30 (when the exchange will take place in the winter sem. 2024) / until January 30, 2025 (exchange in the summer sem. 2023) - the student prepares a Learning Agreement (LA) on her/his account at the International Office, on the basis of the program offer, obtained from a foreign university. Table A should include selected subjects in the field of social sciences, in table B - subjects implemented in the ISM study program (during the mobility semester). Each of the tables should contain courses with a total value of 30 ECTS points per semester. After completing the Learning Agreement, the Student should APPROVE this document in the system so that it appears in the Coordinator's panel for electronic signature.
- The Learning Agreement must be submitted to the Dean's Office before going on a scholarship. It should be signed by the ISM Coordinator, the coordinator of the host university, and also by the student.·
- Students who go for the Erasmus + scholarship during the diploma seminar are required to submit to the Dean's Office within one month of the beginning of the semester: 1) an application for extramural credit for the course while participating in the Erasmus + Program (Annex 1 available for download here: Rules-of-settlement-of-ERASMUS-Program_2021-06-16_13-24-12 (PDF / 310.93 kb) ; 2) supervisor opinion regarding the exchange (available here: Supervisor-opinion-eng (DOCX / 14.29 kb).
- If the scholarship falls in the semester in which the Student is required to complete a course with a conditional entry, he/she may: 1) pursue this course on an extramural basis by submitting to the Dean an Application for external credit for the course (Appendix no.1: Rules-of-settlement-of-ERASMUS-Program_2021-06-16_13-24-12 (PDF / 310.93 kb), or 2) submit an application to the Dean's Office for the implementation of this subject in the next academic year (download here: Wniosek-studenta-wpis-warunkowy_eng (DOCX / 16.57 kb)
STUDENT'S OBLIGATIONS DURING THE SCHOLARSHIP STAY
- In the case of introducing changes to the Agreement on the curriculum after arriving at a foreign university (e.g. when the hours of selected classes overlap and there is a need to replace the selected subjects with other ones), the Student prepares an annex to the earlier agreement on his individual account, preparing the Changes to Learning Agreement (CHtoLA). The student is obliged to send this document (with the signature of the ISM Coordinator and the Coordinator of the foreign university) to the Dean's Office within one month of starting studies at a foreign university.

STUDENT'S OBLIGATIONS AFTER RETURN FROM THE SCHOLARSHIP
After returning from the scholarship, the Student is obliged to settle accounts with the Dean's Office before September 30 of the academic year in which he participated in the Program, by submitting the required documents:

The student is obliged to settle the scholarship separately at the Dean's Office of the WNS and at the International Office.
