On September 1st-4th, 2022 (with an interactive module from August 31st, 2022), the 15th international scientific conference of the European International Studies Association - the 15th Pan-European Conference on International Relations was held as part of the Pandaemonium: Interrogating the Apocalyptic Imaginaries of Our Time series.


The Institute of International Studies was represented by Dr. Marek Musioła - Deputy Director of the Institute of International Studies for International Cooperation.


Dr. Marek Musioł gave a lecture entitled The securitisation of the Aral Sea Syndrome and its general framework - the securitising actors and the EU's role within the panel - EU Eastern Neighborhood in light of the Russian war in Ukraine, within section S03 - EU Foreign and Security Policy, its Partners and Rivals in the 21st Century.


Dr. Musioł, as a member of EISA, also participated in the General Assembly of EISA.


During the visit, he talked to many experts participating in the event, including academics from Panteion University about potential cooperation, including in the field of academic mobility and organization of open lectures for academic staff and students of ISM.


The international scientific conference was held in the building of The Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens.
