On November 17-18, 2023, the University of Wroclaw hosted graduates of the Erasmus Mundus Global Studies program for a diploma ceremony. The event was organized by the Institute of International Studies and Security at the University of Wroclaw and the EMGS Consortium.

On Friday, November 17, a scientific conference took place on the campus of the Faculty of Social Sciences, where graduates presented the results of their research conducted as part of their master's theses. The main part of the ceremony, the awarding of diplomas to this year's graduates, took place on Saturday, November 18, in the Leopoldina Hall of the main building of the University of Wroclaw. The ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University of Wroclaw, Prof. Patrycja Matusz, the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Magdalena Ratajczak, the Director of the Erasmus Mundus Global Studies Consortium, Dr. Steffi Marung, representatives of the consortium universities, the academic staff of the Institute of International Studies and Security, as well as numerous guests. In addition to the diploma presentation, awards were also given to the program's top graduates and for the best master's theses. The first two awards went to graduates who wrote their theses at our institute. The award for the best master's thesis was received by Ms. Natalie Fink, whose supervisor was Prof. Patrycja Matusz, and second place was taken by Mr. Ennio Brandt, who wrote his thesis under the supervision of Prof. Beata Ociepka.
