The Eastwest European Institute, Rome is an institute focused on EU geopolitics and institutions, chaired by the former ambassador Giuseppe Scognamiglio. Every year we organize intensive courses on the EU legislative process and study missions to different countries where international students meet diplomats and politicians, visit institutions and simulate diplomatic negotiations.
We are now organizing a Study Mission to Rome, with the Sustainable Development Goals as its subject, from October 24th to 28th.
The program will allow students to participate in four days of high-level meetings in Rome inside the central Italian institutions such as the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Residences of the President of the Italian Republic, the Palace of the Italian Government, and the city hall of Rome “Campidoglio”, where the Bid Committee for Expo 2030 Rome will illustrate you the reasons behind the candidature of the Eternal City.
Moreover, the students will meet representatives from the Italian public/private sector, diplomats, experts, professors, opinion-makers, and members of the principal international institutions in Rome, like FAO.
Finally, the participants will have the great chance to visit historically locations in Rome, both from a religious-cultural standpoint and from a social-political point of view.
Furthermore, this project could be interesting for you because it would allow for networking with other students from all over the world.
